Pineapple is designed to be a safe space for those in the swinging community. Therefore, we’ve put together some guidelines to help provide this safe environment for our amazing swinging community!
Be your true self - and your only self!
Fake accounts or personas aren’t welcome on Pineapple. With fake and multiple profiles being such an issue across dating sites - and swinging platforms in particular - we work hard to ensure that only authentic people are using our app. Safety and authenticity is what sets Pineapple apart, so we are diligent on this rule.
Good intentions
Pineapple is a platform where swingers can meet like-minded people. Ulterior motives such as networking, selling goods or services, and harassment are not welcome.
Kindness
This is a place to chat to other people who are interested in what you’re interested in. Our chat function is not a place for arguments, insults, or rudeness. Stay kind, or step away from the chat.
No violent or disturbing content
Pineapple does not allow violent content to be shared on the platform. This includes (but is not limited to) images of or reference to violence against people or animals, self harm or use of weapons.
Respect
Everyone has different comfort zones, so be mindful of this when chatting to, or sharing photos with other people. Respecting people’s boundaries is important both on and off the app.
No hate
You may be chatting to people from all walks of life, so being respectful and accepting of things such as race, ethnicity, identity, sexuality, gender, disability or age is essential. We do not condone any form of discrimination as we focus on creating a safe and inclusive platform.
Be law-abiding
No illegal activity is allowed on Pineapple, nor is anyone allowed to insight help to carry out illegal activity. This includes (but is not limited) to drug dealing and trafficking.
Adults only
All users must be 18 years or older. This also means we don’t allow photos of unaccompanied or unclothed children on the app at all - even if it’s yourself as a child.
Take care if you share
Just like any platform where you’re interacting with people you’ve not met before, sharing sensitive information like bank details and passwords, or sending money to another app user is not encouraged. Take care if sharing personal details such as phone numbers, addresses or social media handles too.
Photos
Do not send nude photos of any part of your body (specifically genitals) to other users unless explicitly requested. This also applies to profile photos, and may lead to your account not being verified, or deactivated.
As with any other app where you’re interacting with strangers, keeping yourself safe is paramount. Here are some tips to keep in mind:
If you feel uncomfortable, leave. Listen to your gut instincts
Don’t leave personal belongings unattended
Use protection. Condoms significantly reduce the spread of STIs, but be aware that some infections can be transmitted via skin-to-skin contact. Vaccinations are available to help protect you against these.
Get tested for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) regularly, as some infections don’t have any symptoms. Be aware that it’s a crime to knowingly transmit an STI to someone else, so keep communication open about what your status is.
Be clear about consent from the start, and check in with your partner(s) along the way to make sure they are still feeling comfortable. Having a safe word can help with this communication in the heat of the moment.
Please report any offensive behaviour to us. If you have concerns about somebody you have met on Pineapple, get in touch with us right away as we have strict processes in place to ensure that our community stays safe, and users who break the rules are not tolerated.
